Beacon Rock was inspired by the journey of Tim and Mariah Harle and their daughter Reagen, who was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition Phelan-McDermid Syndrome after years of searching for answers. Their family's experience revealed an overwhelming need for adults with disabilities- many of whom have few opportunities after high school and uncertain futures. Beacon Rock is building a 120 acre faith based community in Southern Illinois where adults with disabilities can live, learn, work, worship, and thrive in a safe, loving environment filled with dignity, purpose, and belonging. Your participation helps turn this vision into reality!
